FLY TO ALTA VALTELLINA
For the guests flying to and from Bergamo Orio al Serio or Milano Malpensa (private or groups) there is a bus transfer from/to Alta Valtellina.

- FROM MILAN
From central south: on the east bypass take the "link road" Torino - Malpensa. Exit Sesto San Giovanni. Then continue in the direction of Lecco on Lake Como - Sondrio.
From north west: use the northern bypass in the direction of Venezia. Exit Sesto San Giovanni. Then continue in the direction of Lecco on Lake Como - Sondrio.
- FROM BRESCIA
From north - east: on the Venezia - Milano motorway exit at Brescia Ovest (Brescia west). Take the bypass until Iseo, then the Valcamonica until Edolo. From here pass through Aprica reaching Valtellina, then towards Bormio.
- FROM NORTHERN EUROPE
From Switzerland
All year: St.Moritz - Bernina Pass - Tirano - Bormio or Lower Engadin - Zernez - Tunnel la Drossa (Please note: check the opening times or call the police to check the opening times Tel +39 0342 996235; Pay toll they do accept just cash).
Only in Summer: St.Moritz - Bernina Pass- Forcola Pass- Livigno - Bormio or Lower Engadin - Ofenn Pass - Val Monastero - Umbrail Pass - Bormio
From Austria

Only Summer: Landeck (A) - Resia Pass - Spondigna - Stelvio Pass - Bormio
Please note: the following mountain routes are closed during winter season:
- Passo del Gavia 2621m (from the province Brescia Pontedi Legno)
- Passo dello Stelvio 2758m (from the province Bolzano) coming from the north faster than through the Tunnel Passo del Gallo.
- Passo Santa Maria 2502m (Swiss border) faster than through the Tunnel Passo del Gallo
- Passo della Forcola 2315m (Switzerland) going to Livigno.
ACCESS BY TRAIN:
Every day 8 trains leave from Milan main station to reach Tirano (the closest train station).
The journey is approximately 2 and a half hours.
Right in front of the train station you can catch a bus for Bormio.
There is usually one after every train.
